Saab
We are pleased that AVV and Saab Air Traffic Management Nederland B.V. have reached a negotiated agreement regarding the new Collective Labour Agreement (CLA). The discussions were constructive, open, and solution-oriented, resulting in a balanced outcome for both employees and the organisation. Below is a summary of the key points of the agreement.
- Salary Structure and Indexation
For the 2026 CLA, the current methodology will be maintained. A provisional 3% CBS index will apply from 1 January 2026.
If the official index (CBS bulletin 9-2026) exceeds this by more than 0.2%, the higher percentage will be applied retroactively.
From 2027 onward, a new and clearer approach will be introduced: the CBS index from bulletin 12 of the preceding year will determine the salary adjustment for the upcoming year. This eliminates mid-year corrections and provides more stability. - Multi-Year CLA (2026–2027)
A two-year CLA has been agreed upon, covering 2026 and 2027. To ensure fairness in changing economic conditions, the agreement includes a mid-term review mechanism. - Overtime Compensation
Overtime remuneration has been clearly defined:
- Evening work (Mon–Fri 20:00–00:00): 150%
- Weekend work (Sat and Sun 06.00 - 00:00): 150%
- Night work (00:00–06:00) & public holidays: 200%
- Travel related to overtime periods: 150%
Employees may choose between:
- Full payment of the overtime at the applicable percentage, or
- Compensatory time off for the base hour + payment of the premium portion.
Overtime always requires prior approval. For Line Managers, overtime is part of the role, except in cases involving weekend travel.
The next phase in the process will proceed as follows:
- Meeting with Saab employee’s on the 2nd of December, from 16:00 to 17:00.
During this meeting, we will walk through the agreement and answer any remaining questions. - Voting period is from 8 December – 19 December, people will be able to cast their vote during this period.
A separate voting link will be provided.
